Have you heard of Blackshark? If you haven’t, the Blackshark is a mobile gaming company that focuses on manufacturing gaming-centric products including smartphones. It was acquired by Xiaomi last year and is apparently working on a new gaming-centric smartphone. Earlier today, Xiaomi’s Blackshark smartphone was spotted online on AnTuTu revealing some of its specifications and features. As per the listing, the alleged Blackshark handset appears to be a beast of a smartphone that is likely to compete against the gaming monster, the Razer phone.

According to the AnTuTu listing, the phone flaunts a Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels along with the new aspect ratio of 18:9. In the inside, it houses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset clubbed with Adreno 630 GPU. The phone is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which also supports memory expansion via a microSD card. However, as per some reports, it is also expected to come with higher storage variants, perhaps a 64GB or 128GB storage variant. On the software side, the phone is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Moreover, earlier reports suggest that the smartphone will feature an aviation-class cooling system along with a display refresh rate of up to 120Hz which was first introduced on the Razer Phone.

Aside from the specs, the alleged phone scored a massive 270680 points in the AnTuTu benchmark which is the highest points ever on any device. The phone has scored higher than the scores of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9+ which was recently spotted on the same benchmark with 265,267 points.
