After several months of leaks and rumors, Samsung has finally gone ahead and unveiled its latest Samsung Galaxy S10 line of smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked 2019 held in San Francisco. Notably, Samsung has launched three unique variants of the Galaxy S10. The first variant is the standard Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 plus, and the compact version S10e. All three devices ship with Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box with Samsung’s latest One UI. Now, let’s take a closer look at all the newly launched Galaxy smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S10
The Galaxy S10 Features a 6.1-inch Quad HD+ Curved Dynamic AMOLED Display with a Screen resolution of 1440 X 3040 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 550ppi. The display Also comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Under the hood, the S10 is powered by either the Samsung’s Exynos 9820 chipset or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 512GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB using microSD.
Apart from that, the S10 is certified with IP68 Rating, which makes it resistant to dust and water. The S10 also features AKG-tuned speakers to provide a crisp and high-quality sound. The device has a fine 3,400mAh battery that supports 10W reverse wireless charging and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0. Moreover, it also comes with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and 3D face scanning technology.

For photography, the Galaxy S10 features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP wide sensor with f/2.4, a 12MP telephoto sensor with f/1.5, and a 16MP ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2. On the front, there’s an Infinity O cutout display that houses a 10MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture, dual-pixel autofocus, OIS, and 4K video shooting capabilities.
Samsung Galaxy S10 +
The Galaxy S10 plus is largely the same phone as the S10 but with a slightly larger 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, Dual front cameras, and a much bigger battery. The Galaxy S10 Is powered by the same Snapdragon 855 or the Exynos 9820 chipsets depending on your region. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage(expandable with up to 512GB microSD card). There’s also an ultra-premium Ceramic model which has 12GB of RAM and 1TB storage. Under the hood, the device packs a 4,100mAh battery with Adaptive Fast Charge support and Fast Wireless Charging, as well as Wireless PowerShare to charge other wireless charging devices.
Coming to the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ sports a triple rear camera setup which combines a 12MP (f/1.5- f/2.4) primary sensor, 12MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor, and a 16 MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor. The smartphone also has a dual front camera module, which is a combination of a 10MP (f/1.9) sensor and an 8MP (f/2.2) sensor housed in the punch-hole display
Samsung Galaxy S10e
The Galaxy S10e is the most affordable and compact version of the lot. The smartphone is relatively smaller than the S10 and S10+ but it comes packed with all the premium essentials like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and Dynamic AMOLED panel. It features a 5.8-inch Full-HD+ Flat Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display with 19:9 aspect ration and a pixel density of 522ppi. It is available in 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 storage option. The S10e houses a 3100mAh battery with fast charging support and comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader instead of the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

As for the cameras, it has a dual rear camera setup that includes a primary 12MP camera with a dual aperture (f/1.5 or f/2.4) + OIS and a secondary 16MP ultra wide angle camera. For selfies, it features a 10MP sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and can shoot 4K videos as well.
