At first glance, the S9 and Galaxy S9+ look almost identical to the last year’s Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Both S9/S9+ follow the same design language and retain that gorgeous dual curve infinity display with a handsome metal and glass finish. However, some minor changes were made to the design. The screen bezels have been slightly reduced and thus resulting in a higher screen-to-body ratio of 84.2% in S9 and 83.2% in S9+ respectively. The best improvement was the placement of the fingerprint scanner which is now correctly placed under the rear camera sensor.

Samsung for the first time has introduced AR Emoji Technology which will compete with Apple’s Animoji. With the new AR Emoji, you’ll be able to take a picture of yourself and it will capture 100 different facial features and gives you your own emoji. Furthermore, both the phone have an intelligent scan feature that combines face recognition technology and iris scan for an accurate unlocking even in low light situations.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are all about the camera. The Galaxy S9 packs 12-megapixel camera with OIS and dual aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4 while the Galaxy S9+ packs a dual 12-megapixel (standard + telephoto) rear sensor.
