After a pretty successful launch in the Indian market last month, the Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone has now arrived in Nepal. The Nokia 3.1 Plus is an entry-level smartphone from the company which shares a similar design language to the mid-range Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus. Priced at Rs.23,999, the phone will compete against the likes of Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite (Rs. 24,499) and the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo. Now, let’s talk about the phone in more details.
Speaking of its specifications, the Nokia 3.1 Plus features a 6-inch HD+ IPS display with 2.5D curved glass, 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. Internally, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 400GB via microSD card. Under the hood, it houses a humongous 3,500mAh battery which promises to offer 2 days of battery life, as per the company claims. On the software front, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back of the phone.
In terms of connectivity, it offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a micro USB port.
As for the cameras, the Nokia 3.1 Plus packs a dual 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP in-depth sensor with LED flash support. On the front, it comes with a single 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Both the camera supports Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled Bokeh mode.
