Huawei Nepal has unveiled its new flagship smartphone- the Huawei Mate 10 Pro at the CAN-Infotech exhibition held in Nepal. The smartphone is powered by the world’s first Artificial Intelligence(AI) processor- Kirin 970. Basically, the AI enabled processor promises to offer faster performance and more customized mobile experience. Apart from that, the Mate 10 Pro also boasts OLED FullView display, 3D Glass body and features almost bezel-less edges.

First off, talking about the specifications of the Mate 10 Pro, it comes with a 6-inch OLED Fullview display with a screen resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. In addition to that, it is also equipped with HDR10 technology which provides an exceptionally brighter colors. As for the processor, it is being powered by the latest in-house Kirin 970 chipset, which is the world’s first AI focused processor. It is an Octa-core processor which has 4 Cortex A73 cores clocked at 2.36 GHz and 4 Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone comes with a 6GB DDR4 RAM along with 128GB of internal storage that lacks a microSD slot. But I think 128GB inbuilt storage is more than enough for most average users. So can’t complain about that. The phone runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box with EMUI 8.0 skin on top.
Under the hood, it houses a 4,000mAh battery which offers up to 2 days of battery life for most casual users. Furthermore, the mate 10 pro comes with an IP67 rating which makes it resistant to water and dust. The phone has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor positioned just below the dual-camera setup. Coming back to the camera, the phone packs Leica powered dual rear camera setup which combines 12MP RGB sensor and a 20MP monochrome sensor aided by the world’s highest aperture- a dual f/1.6 aperture.Moreover, the camera is powered by Optical Image Stabilization(OIS) and 4-in-1 hybrid focus. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor for capturing selfies and video-calling. The front camera is also equipped with some incredible features like AI selfie, AI digital Zoom, and AI-powered Bokeh mode.
