In terms of the hardware specs, the Mi Mix 2 offers a 5.99-inch FHD+ LCD display with a screen resolution of 2,160 x 1,080pixels and offers a pixel density of 403ppi. The display uses the aspect ratio of 18:9 and is further protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Inside, the phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45GHz coupled with a large 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The phone lacks microSD card slot so there’s no option to expand the memory, however, I believe 64GB of internal storage should suffice for most people. Under the hood, it is backed by a 3,400mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. On the software front, the phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 skin on top of it. As for the connectivity features, it offers Global 4g LTE, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS and NFC.

In the optics department, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a 12MP Sony IMX386 rear sensor with 1.25um pixels and f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, the camera is also included with 4-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), 5P lens and dual LED Flash. On the front, you’ll get a 5MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling.
