A couple of weeks ago, Samsung unveiled a new budget-friendly smartphone in the Nepali market- the Samsung Galaxy J2 4G Edition. Speaking of its specifications, the Galaxy J2 features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Internally, it is powered a quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. The phone houses a 2,000mAh battery. The company claims that the phone can last for over 9 hours on 4G LTE. On the software front, it operates on Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box. As for the connectivity features, it offers Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, USB-OTG, and Dual SIM. Dual-Sim support. It measures 136.5 x 69.0 x 8.4mm and weighs 130 grams.
In the optics department, the phone packs a 5-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash and on the front, there’s a 2-megapixel sensor for capturing selfies and video-calling. Moreover, the smartphone is also included with some interesting features like Quick launch and Palm selfie.
