After months of speculation and leaks, OPPO has finally unveiled its brand new OPPO R15 smartphone at a launch event in China. As speculated, the OPPO R15 features a Full HD+ OLED display and also comes with an iPhone X-like notch up front. At the same event, the company also announced another smartphone named as OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. Now, let’s take a look at the OPPO R15 specs, features, and price.
Speaking of its specification, both the R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition features a 6.28-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels along with 19:9 aspect ratio. On the inside, the standard R15 is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 processor while the R15 Dream Mirror Edition runs on Snapdragon 660 SoC. Besides that, both the handsets are equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB. Under the hood, the R15 houses a 3,450 mAh battery while the R15 Dream Edtion packs a slightly smaller 3,400mAh battery with VOOC charging support on both devices.
As for the software, both the handsets run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with ColorOS 5.0 skin on top. There is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor on both devices. In terms of connectivity, it offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, USB-C
On the camera front, the standard OPPO R15 comes with a dual camera setup at the back, which combines a 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor with f/1.7 lens and f/2.2 lens respectively. As for the OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition, it packs a dual 16MP primary sensor which is accompanied by a 20MP secondary sensor. On the front, both smartphones have a whopping 20MP front camera for selfies. In addition, the camera is also equipped with AI Smart Beauty, dual camera bokeh, and 3D portrait lighting.

Pricing and Availability
Coming to the pricing, the standard OPPO R15 is priced at CNY 2999 (roughly Rs.49,000) while the OPPO R15 DME carries a bit higher price tag of CNY 3299 (roughly Rs.54,540). Both the smartphones will be available to purchase from April. The R15 will be available in Hot Red, Snow White, and Star Purple colors whereas, the R15 DME is available in Dream Red and Ceramic Black only.
