OPPO today has launched its most anticipated smartphone, the OPPO F5 in the Philippines at a price of 15,990 PHP. The OPPO F5 is yet another selfie-centric smartphone from the company and is a true successor to the F3. It flaunts all-new design with thin bezels all around, a uni-body metal construction and also comes with the new AI(Artificial Intelligence)backed 20MP selfie camera. UPDATE: OPPO F5 NOW AVAILABLE IN NEPAL
Up front, the OPPO F5 boasts a 6.0-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of (1080 x 2160) pixels and comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. OPPO has also equipped the F5 with a 2.5D curved glass which offers better user experience. The F5 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6763T processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB Internal Storage. The OPPO F5 also comes in 6GB RAM/64GB storage variant as well. The onboard storage facilitates expansion up to 256GB via a microSD card. The phone is backed up by 3200mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2 on top of it. Connectivity option includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, USB-OTG,and Dual SIM.

In terms of camera, the OPPO F5 sports a 16-MP rear-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture and a massive 20MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and a ½.8-inch sensor. The company claims, the F5 is the first ever phone to come with the new AI Beauty Recognition Technology. The new AI Technology helps you capture perfect selfies and also offers ‘bokeh effect ‘feature to take beautiful portrait shots with a blurred background. The OPPO F5 also comes with Facial unlock that lets you unlock the phone with your face.
