After months of leaks and rumors, OnePlus has finally unveiled its much-awaited smartphones, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. This is the first time that OnePlus has released two new flagships at the same event. Now, let’s talk about each of them in details.
OnePlus 7
In terms of design, the phone is quite similar to its predecessor – OnePlus 6T. It comes with a 6.41-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there’s a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor clocked at 2.84GHz clubbed with Adreno 640 GPU. The phone has 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage.
On the software side, it runs on Oxygen OS which is based on Android 9 Pie. It is equipped with a 3,700mAh battery that supports 5V/4A 20W Warp Charging. As for security, it features an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock feature. Connectivity options include Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band, GPS, and USB Type-C port.
For photography, there is a dual 48MP (Sony IMX 586) primary rear camera with 1.6 μm pixel size, f/1.7 aperture, OIS that is coupled with a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. While on the front, it has a single 16MP Sony IMX 471 camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 1.0 μm pixel size. The front camera features are Face Unlock, Screen Flash, HDR, & Face Retouching.

OnePlus 7 Pro
The OnePlus 7 Pro is the phone we have been waiting for as it features top of the line hardware including a curved 90Hz OLED display, a triple rear camera, front pop-up camera, and an improved in-display fingerprint scanner.
Starting off with the specs, it sports a 6.67-inch (3120 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio Fluid AMOLED display with 516PPI, 90Hz refresh rate, sRGB color gamut, and DCI-P3 color gamut support. Underneath, it is powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC with RAM Boost, 10-layer liquid cooling, coupled with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.
The phone runs Android 9 Pie OS based on OxygenOS out of the box. Under the hood, it is backed by a 4000mAh battery with support for Warp Charge 30 Fast Charging (5V/6A). The company claims, it can charge from 0 to 48% in just 20 minutes.
Coming to the cameras, unlike the OnePlus 7, the 7 Pro features a triple camera setup at the back which combines a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with 7P lens, f/1.6 aperture along with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 1μm pixel size, OIS and 3x zoom plus a 16-megapixel Ultra Wide Angle Lens with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, it features a 16-megapixel Sony IMX 471 sensor pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
