Micromax on 22nd August has launched its latest smartphone the Canvas Infinity. India was first to receive the phone as the launch stood at an event in New-Delhi. Canvas Infinity is the first Micromax Smartphone to resemble the LG Q6 bezel-less design. The phone did not receive the curved edges as rumored but has an outstanding thin bezel. During the launch, Micromax also promised to provide the Android O update shortly. For now, the phone runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat).
The major highlight of the Micromax latest Smartphone is its edge-to-edge 5.7-inch screen having an aspect ratio 18:9. Canvas Infinity is a well-designed high-end budget smartphone ready to compete against other affordable handsets. The Smartphone is tagged with the price amount of INR 10,000 which is approximately Rs.18,000 in Nepal. Now let’s take a quick look at the phone specifications.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Specifications
Micromax Canvas Infinity features a 5.7-inch HD display with 18:9 screen ratio, protected with a Corning Gorilla glass on top. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, assembled with Adreno 308 GPU. The processor is paired with a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage on board. Storage can be further expanded up-to 128GB via MicroSD. The Canvas Infinity is packed with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture alongside 5P lens. On the front, the Smartphone sports a 16MP selfie shooter with a soft LED flash along with a built-in face beauty mode. A removable battery of 2900mAh backs up the phone which gives plenty of talk-time hours (20hrs). Aside from the key specs the phone also holds additional features like Fingerprint, gravity sensor, accelerometer, proximity and more.
Availability and Highlights
As per now, Micromax Canvas Infinity is only available in black color but we can expect the phone in multiple colors soon. The phone is estimated to be priced at Rs.18,000 in Nepal. The phone will be available in Nepal after couple months from today.
