Indian smartphone brand Lava is preparing to bring a new smartphone dubbed as Lava R3 in Nepali market. The company has been recently teasing the upcoming Lava R3 for a while on its official Facebook page. Unfortunately, we don’t have any precise information on the release date and pricing of the phone yet, however, according to some sources, it is expected to be launched on February 11. As for the price, the phone will probably cost you Rs. 18,499.

Speaking of its specifications, the Lava R3 has a 5.7-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 720X1440 pixels. The phone also comes boasting the futuristic 18:9 aspect ratio display with 2.5D curved glass coating on top. In terms of processor, the smartphone is powered by a Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which does support memory expansion through a microSD card. It is backed up by a 3000mAh non-removable battery and runs on StarOS 4.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The fingerprint scanner is placed in the rear of the phone. Besides that, the phone also supports FaceID Technology which can unlock it in just 0.8seconds. The smartphone will be available in two color options- Black and White.
As for the cameras, the Lava R3 packs a 13-megapixel sensor on the rear with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED Flash. In addition, the phone also captures bokeh effect pictures. And on the front, you’ll get an 8MP shooter for capturing selfies and video-calling. The front camera also comes with some impressive features including Bokeh effects & Night shot master.
