GoPro has finally unveiled its new action camera- the GoPro Hero 6 Black at a launch event in San Francisco. The GoPro Hero 6 looks identical to the last year’s Hero 5 Black but comes with some new changes including a custom G1 processor which offers higher frame rates, improved image quality, and better stabilization. With the new GoPro Hero 6, you will now be able to capture 4K videos at 60fps and 1080p slow-motion videos at 240fps.
The GoPro Hero6 Black comes in sturdy waterproof design boasting a 2-inch LCD touchscreen which supports all new touch-to-zoom feature that allows better aiming for closer shots. The new Hero6 is powered by a custom GP1 chip that is capable of producing better video-stabilization, higher video frame rates and improve dynamic range. The company claims that the Hero6 is the most powerful and advanced GoPro camera yet. The new GoPro cam captures 12MP images in both JPG or Raw and HDR modes. The new GoPro includes faster Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS and is waterproof as well. It can be used underwater up to 10 meters without the use of any external case. QuickStories performance is now three times faster than before with 5GHz Wifi band that allows faster transfer of footage to your smartphone. GoPro Hero 6 comes with improved voice control that now supports up to 10 different languages.
Alongside the GoPro Hero 6, the company has also launched GoPro Fusion 360 camera which lets you shoot 360-degree video of 5.2k resolution at 30fps and 3k resolution videos at 60fps. The Fusion camera comes with an advanced video stabilization for shooting smoother videos and can even record 360-degree audio.

The GoPro Hero 6 Black comes with a price tag of $499(Rs.52,151) while the GoPro Fusion camera costs $699(Rs.73,053) in the United States. The GoPro Hero 6 Black is already available for purchase from GoPro.com and select retailers worldwide. While the Fusion camera is now available for pre-order and will be shipping from November.
