Xiaomi has recently unveiled its new entry-level smartphone, the Redmi Go in Nepal. It is the first smartphone from the company to launch with the Android Oreo Go Edition, which is a lightweight Android operating system developed specially for entry-level smartphones. The Redmi Go will be available for purchase at an attractive price of Rs.8,999.
As for the specifications, the Redmi Go features a 5.0-inch HD LCD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 clocked up to 1.4GHZ, clubbed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD.
Being an Android Go smartphone, the Redmi Go runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition). All this is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, which can offer up to 10 hours of battery life. For photography, it sports an 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP camera on the front with f/2.2 aperture.
