After weeks of teasing on its social media channels, OPPO has finally launched the new budget-friendly smartphone, namely the OPPO A71(2018) in Nepal. With the launch of the OPPO A71(2018), the company has further expanded its A-series portfolio in Nepali market. The key highlights of the phone is a built-in AI Beauty technology and Bokeh camera effects which let users capture the blurred background images.
As for its specifications, the OPPO A71(2018) boasts a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is the Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, coupled with 3GB and 16GB internal storage. The phone does support memory expansion via a microSD card up to 256GB. On the software front, it operates on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2 UI running on top of it. The phone is fueled by 3,000mAh battery, which can easily last for a full day under normal use. As far as connectivity is concerned, the phone offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, micro USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack and dual-SIM.
Coming to the camera, the phone packs a 13-megapixel rear sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There’s a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.4 aperture at the front. Moreover, the camera comes with an AI beautification function which increases the accuracy of face recognition.
