Nubia Z17, launched back in June is the flagship smartphone from ZTE and today the company has announced a toned-down version of Nubia Z17 called Nubia Z17 lite. As the name suggests, it is the lower-end version of the regular Nubia Z17 packing some decent specs, 13MP dual camera setup on the back and offers premium design.
The new ZTE Nubia Z17 lite comes with a metal unibody design boasting a 5.5-inch FHD edge to edge TFT display, features 6GB of RAM and 64/128 Gigs of Internal Storage but there is no option to expand the storage. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor paired with Adreno 510 GPU. It operates on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system backed up by 3200 mAh battery which supports Quick charge 3.0 technology.
In the camera department, Nubia Z17 lite sports a 13MP+13MP Sony IMX258 dual camera sensors (one is an RGB sensor and other is monochrome sensor) with a f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. For shooting selfies, there is a 16MP front facing camera with Samsung Imaging sensor with an aperture of f/2.0.

The Nubia Z1 lite has a fingerprint scanner fitted on the rear panel and comes in all metal unibody design which gives it an exclusive premium look. The phone also comes with feature pack DTS sound system for enhancing audio quality. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, and USB OTG.
Nubia Z17 Lite: Price & Availability
The Nubia Z17 lite will be available in three color variants: Aurora Blue, Obsidian Black, and Black Gold. The device is already unveiled and is expected to go on sale on September 6 in its home market in China and we’re pretty sure that in a couple of months other countries will be getting the device. The Nubia Z17 lite is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly RS.39400).
