At Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, HMD Global announced the launch of two new impressive smartphones- Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco. The Nokia 7 Plus succeeds the last year’s Nokia 7 to become the latest mid-range offering from the company. The Nokia 8 Sirocco, on the other hand, is a completely redesigned version of the flagship Nokia 8 which was launched back in 2017. Now, let’s take a closer look at the specifications and features of these both phones.
Nokia 7 Plus
The Nokia 7 Plus comes with a metal unibody design made from 6000 series aluminum. The smartphone flaunts a 6.0-inch Full-HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels along with 18:9 aspect ratio. Underneath the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. Backing up the phone is a large 3,800mAh battery which supports fast charging. As per the company, the phone offers a talk time of 19 hours and a standby time of 723 hours. On the software front, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. In terms of connectivity features, the Nokia 7 Plus offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack.
As for the cameras, the Nokia 7 Pus packs a dual camera setup at the back which combines a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/1.75 aperture and a 13-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.6 aperture and 2x optical zoom. In addition, the camera is also supported with dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture accompanied by Zeiss optics.

Nokia 8 Sirocco
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is another great smartphone that was unveiled at the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2018. In terms of looks, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is the company’s most beautiful smartphone to date, all thanks to its thin bezels and curved display. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch QHD pOLED 2K display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. The display receives protection from Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Inside, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which doesn’t offer storage expansion. Under the hood, it houses a 3260mAh battery with Qi wireless charging and Quick Charge 4.0 support. The Nokia 8 Sirocco operates on Android 8.0 Oreo. Moreover, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is an IP67certified phone, which means they are resistant to water and dust.
In the optics department, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors accompanied by LED flash and Zeiss optics. On the front, the phone packs a 5-megapixel sensor with 1.4um pixel size and f/2.0 aperture.

Price and Availability
The Nokia 7 Plus is priced at €399(roughly Rs.50,898) while the Nokia 8 Sirocco is available for €749(roughly Rs.95,540). Both the smartphones will be available to purchase from April.
